Community Garden is a C2C and B2C mobile app that was crafted in response to the pandemic. The app is a plant marketplace which allows users to swap, buy, or sell plants with other members, as well as, support local and global stores.
Plants have been proven to reduce stress, anxiety and improve one's overall mood & mental health. Community Garden was designed to empower the plant community and make people feel less alone during a time period of isolation.
OK2B is a campaign that aims to destigmatize mental health awareness by sparking inclusive conversations about mental wellness and treatment resources.
This campaign's intentions are to support college students seeking mental health resources while specifically reaching out to BIPOC communities who have been disproportionately affected by institutional mental health stigmatization.
Mottainai (もったいない) means “don’t be wasteful” in Japanese. The app was inspired by this phrase, as well as speculative design and the many issues regarding climate change and food waste.
Mottainai the app specifically pin points the global issue of food waste in the food industry, as well as prioritizes helping lower income communities that struggle with getting access to affordable organic goods.
